Mike Areddy, PGA Head Golf Professional 

Mike Areddy has been the Head Golf Professional at Travis Pointe since 1990. Mike is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and PGA Member for 25 years. 

Mike caddied at Franklin Hills from 1969-1974;and was a shop assistant there from 1974-1979; Mike was the Assistant Golf Professional at Franklin Hills from 1979-1984 and was Assistant Golf Professional at Pine Lake from 1985-1989.

Mike is regarded as one of the top teaching professionals in the State of Michigan and has a loyal following of Travis Pointe members.  Mike was named 2009 Golf Professional of the Year by the Michigan Section PGA.  Mike was also published in the PGA Magazine, December 2009 issue for his views on Golf Equipment - Club Fitting. Adam Howe – PGA Assistant Golf Professional

Adam is in his sixth year at Travis Pointe and has been named the 2010 Assistant Professional of the Year for the state of Michigan. He graduated from Ferris State University in 2004 from the Professional Golf Management program. 

Adam became a PGA member in 2007 with aspiration of becoming a head golf professional in the near future. Adam is a very good instructor for beginners, junior golfers and experienced golfers.  
He shows enthusiasm and makes his lessons a fun learning experience.

 

 

Rocky Mullendore, PGA Assistant Golf Professional

Rocky is in his 4th year at Travis Pointe
with experience in the business world before turning to golf. Rocky
became a PGA 
member this past
winter after passing all of his schooling requirements.  Rocky is a gradute of Webber International University and played on the golf team during his four years.  He has been a great addtion to the golf staff and the membership enjoys his friendly smile.  Rocky has been very effective teaching the junior golfers as well as the beginner golfer at Travis.

                                                                                                                         
 Andrew Slade
 Assistant Golf
 Professional
Andrew is in his firstyear at Travis Pointe 
after graduating from Ferris State University
in the Professional Golf Management program.
He has completed all three levels of the PGA education program with ambitions of
becoming a PGA member in the near future.  Andrew is a very good player and brings his new ideas to the golf staff.  Andrew has worked at the TPC of Michigan,Bedford Golf & Tennis Club, and most recently at Camelback Golf Club in Arizona.
